Two prominent organizations have recognized the successes of the Broome County Promise Zone and recently highlighted the efforts of PZ to enhance the Community Schools model.
The Community Schools Leadership Network named Broome County Promise Zone as one of their Top Accomplishments in 2015:
Broome County, NY: The Broome County Promise Zone is a county-wide university assisted community school initiative, Still in the infancy stages, it is working to bringing awareness and understanding about the community school model, particularly the student successes that have been gained.
